Grayslake North Jr Knights

Grayslake North Jr Knights is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) youth football and cheer organization established in December 2022. We serve as a feeder program for Grayslake North High School in D127. In our inaugural year, we welcomed over 200 athletes to our football programs and have since almost doubled in size! We are a fully volunteer-run organization dedicated to the program's success, supported by generous sponsorships and donations.

Our mission is to make football and cheer accessible to boys and girls in grades K-8th, preparing them to excel in high school programs. We strive to build confidence and leadership skills in our athletes while fostering lasting relationships for athletes and their families that will endure through high school and beyond.

One question we get asked often is does the athlete need to be in district to participate? Our answer is simple, we are a feeder program for GNHS, our tackle and cheer uniforms and values resemble theirs and the point of our program is to help grow theirs. However, if an out of district athlete wants to participate with us we will not turn them away. If we did, that would go against our mission of making football and cheer available to all.
