Our Programs

Who We Are...

Grayslake North Jr Knights is a youth football and cheer feeder program for Grayslake North High School. Our goal is to make football and cheer available to all athletes that want to participate, and we do this by offering different programs throughout the year. One question we get asked often is does the athlete need to be in district to play? Our answer is simple, we are a feeder program for GNHS, our tackle and cheer uniforms and values resemble theirs and the point of our program is to help grow theirs.  However, if an out of district athlete wants to participate with us we will not turn them away. If we did, that would go against our mission of making football and cheer available to all. 

Our Flag programs are part of NFL Flag.

2024 Spring Flag

  • NFL FLAG Approved Program
  • Grades K-8 (age 5-14)
  • 6 Weeks
  • Cost: $100
  • Practices start week of April 1st, 6U &10U practice 1xs/week, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and Girls Flag practice 2xs/week
  • Season goes through May 19
  • Games are on Sunday's, except Mother's Day weekend we play Saturday
  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Mouth Guard, Water Bottle
  • Travel time is ~30min
  • Home Games to be held at Grayslake North High School based on field availability

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

TACKLE FOOTBALL 2024 Season

  • Fall program
  • SEYFA League
  • Grades 1-8 
  • Cost: $350 Early Bird ends 2.11 ($100 savings off regular cost), Payment Plan Available
  • Team Practices start week of TBD, run 3-4 days/week
  • Season goes through end of October / beginning of November. Playoff dependent
  • Games are on Saturdays
  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Cup, Mouth Guard, Water Bottle
  • Travel time is ~30min-1hr for games
  • Home Games to be held at Grayslake North High School based on field availability

2024 Girls Spring Flag Program

  • NFL FLAG Approved Program
  • Grades 6-8 (age 11-14)
  • 6 Weeks
  • Cost: $100
  • Practices start week of April 1st,  Girls Flag practices 2xs/week
  • Season goes through May 19
  • Games are on Sunday's, except Mother's Day weekend we play Saturday
  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Mouth Guard, Water Bottle
  • Travel time is ~30min
  • Home Games to be held at Grayslake North High School based on field availability
