Our Programs

Who We Are...

Grayslake North Jr Knights is a youth football and cheer feeder program for Grayslake North High School. Our goal is to make football and cheer available to all athletes that want to participate, and we do this by offering different programs throughout the year. One question we get asked often is does the athlete need to be in district to play? Our answer is simple, we are a feeder program for GNHS, our tackle and cheer uniforms and values resemble theirs and the point of our program is to help grow theirs.  However, if an out of district athlete wants to participate with us we will not turn them away. If we did, that would go against our mission of making football and cheer available to all. 

Our Flag programs are part of NFL Flag.

2025 Spring Flag

  • Grades K-8 (age 5-14)
  • Cost: $125
  • Practices start week of March 31st, K-2 and 3-4 practice 1xs/week, 5-6 and 7-8 practice 2xs/week
  • Season goes through May 18
  • Game day will be Sundays with the following exceptions: no games Easter weekend, Mother's Day weekend we will play on Saturday 5/10.  First game is April 6.
  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Mouthguard, Water Bottle, and Black shorts or pants
  • Travel time is ~30-45min
  • Home Games to be held at Grayslake North High School based on field availability

TACKLE FOOTBALL 2025 Season

  • Fall program
  • SEYFA League
  • Grades 1-8 
  • Cost: $350 Early Bird ends 2.11 ($100 savings off regular cost), Payment Plan Available
  • Team Practices start week of TBD, run 3-4 days/week
  • Season goes through end of October
  • Games are on Saturdays
  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Cup, Mouthguard, Water Bottle
  • Travel time is ~30min-1hr for games
  • Home Games to be held at Grayslake North High School based on field availability

2025 Girls Spring Flag Program

  • Grades K-8
  • Cost: $125

  • Equipment Needed: Cleats, Mouth Guard, Water Bottle, Black shorts or pants
  • Travel time is ~30min-1hr for games
